Federal Financial Management

Federal Financial Management

Federal financial management is the practice of overseeing grants made by the federal government in response to a disaster.  The federal government can be very generous helping communities and jurisdictions recover from disasters, but that largesse comes with a stack of rules, regulations, forms, procedures, and overall minutiae. It is difficult to understand and maneuver, but absolutely possible with the right people on your team. Fortunately, the Hagerty cadre is filled with those right people and we can assemble a team for you within a short timeframe.

Hagerty will go to bat for you and find every possible source of funding available through the auspices of Uncle Sam. Federal financial management is what we do — and we are really good at it! We will document everything so the process is transparent for all parties–the government, the receiving jurisdiction, the citizenry who benefit, and the subcontractors who do much of the physical work.

At Hagerty, we pursue federal financial management via creative thinking combined with expert knowledge of laws and regulations that apply to emergency management and recovery. Read about some of our successes here and here. We do everything possible to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients, every single time.
