Sheila TriaDirector of Human Resources
Sheila is a certified Professional Human Resources (HR) leader with more than fifteen years of success delivering organizational value through the development and implementation of innovative, pragmatic, and performance-driven solutions in both nonprofit and for-profit settings. At Hagerty, she is responsible for defining and implementing HR strategies, systems, and initiatives to support our workforce.
Sheila has notable experience in strategic HR planning; performance management; staffing; federal and state law compliance; employment contract negotiations; employee benefits, compensation, and payroll; employee training and development; and management coaching.
Prior to joining Hagerty, Sheila previously served as the Director of Human Resources with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Northern Virginia – the second largest in the State of Virginia based on patients served. A member of FQHC’s executive team, she was responsible for driving the growth and daily activities of the organization’s HR team while setting enterprise-wide recruitment, employment, development, and retainment strategies. Additionally, she was responsible for leading the FQHC’s HR initiative designed to establish an employee-oriented, high-performing organizational culture focused on empowerment, quality, goal attainment, and growth.
Sheila received her bachelor’s degree in Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management and a master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Operations Management from American Intercontinental University.Back To Our People
