Client Feature: The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC)
Electricity is woven into the fabric of our society and power service disruptions can have cascading negative, mutually-reinforcing, and potentially catastrophic impacts throughout affected communities.
In November 2021, the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and the Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center (E-ISAC) hosted the sixth biennial GridEx exercise designed to bring together senior industry and government leaders to explore, evaluate, and mitigate the risks to the reliability, resilience, and security of the North American energy grid.
Hagerty was proud to support this effort and partner with the NERC, E-ISAC, and GridEx participants as they worked to identify pressing security issues along with the corresponding operational measures and coordinated decision-making necessary to restore grid operations in the wake of a catastrophic cyber incident or physical attack.
