Insuring the Future Summit

At Hagerty, we partner with communities to address climate challenges and create resilient, sustainable futures. That is why we are proud to participate in the second annual Insuring the Future summit, taking place in Hartford, Connecticut, on September 30, 2025.

Co-hosted by the Connecticut Insurance Department (CID) and CT Insurance & Financial Services (CT IFS), the summit offers a unique opportunity for regulators, government leaders, and industry experts to share strategies on climate risks, innovation, and the future of insurance.

This year’s event will explore practical approaches to financing resilient communities, addressing the impacts of climate change, and navigating emerging regulatory standards. Insuring the Future provides a platform for cross-sector collaboration, bringing together national experts to:

  • Share insights on climate risk assessment, catastrophe modeling, and regulatory compliance.
  • Highlight innovative solutions and emerging financial strategies.
  • Showcase practical approaches for building resilient communities, infrastructure, and public health systems.
  • Foster partnerships across government, industry, and nonprofit sectors to address shared challenges.

Connect with Hagerty

Building on these discussions, Hagerty’s Executive Chairman and former Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator, Brock Long, will join a panel titled “Innovative Insurance Solutions for Climate Resilience: Cutting-Edge Insurance Strategies for Climate Adaptation.” The session will focus on innovative insurance products, nature-based solutions, and financial incentives for climate-friendly practices.

We look forward to connecting with fellow professionals and contributing to strategic discussions on the future of the insurance industry. If you are attending, we invite you to join Brock’s panel and connect with the Hagerty team.
