Anthony Trasatti

Vice President and Practice Leader - Finance, Grants, and Information Management
Anthony Trasatti

Anthony Trasatti brings to Hagerty more than 20 years of accounting, auditing, and consulting experience at the national and international levels, with specialties in large-scale program management, operational analyses, and financial and eligibility audits. Deployed on numerous catastrophic disasters, Anthony has a proven record of creating and executing intense management and data information capabilities to efficiently and transparently manage detailed disaster recovery activities. Currently, he is working at New York City’s Office of Management and Budget, leading a team that assists the City with a $9 billion recovery effort from Hurricane Sandy, and with New York’s Housing Authority as they rebuild housing developments.

Prior to his move to New York, Anthony led a 25-person team for more than three years, providing program management support and technical assistance to the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA’s) Louisiana Transitional Recovery Office and their administration of the country’s largest direct housing operation. There, he developed the first data map that conclusively showed where the displaced people of New Orleans ended up as a result of the Hurricane Katrina evacuation. Subsequently, he served as the Project Executive for an 18-person team providing financial and program management support to the City of New Orleans’ $1 billion disaster recovery program comprised of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-appropriated Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds and FEMA Public Assistance (PA) grant funds.

Anthony prides himself on his ability to develop processes, systems, and structures that allow federal and local executives to gain direct insight into disaster recovery operations. As a result, executives are able to address the concerns of the community more efficiently, rebuild quickly, and establish additional accountability for the governing agencies they represent. He loves being embedded with his team on challenging assignments and the feeling of doing good work that makes a difference in people’s lives.
