Florida’s Training for Emergency Management (FTEM) 2025 Symposium offers a critical platform to strengthen disaster preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities across the state. Taking place from June 9 to 13, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, this weeklong event will bring together emergency managers, first responders, and public safety leaders to share insights, explore best practices, and advance the future of emergency management.
Hosted by the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) and the Florida Disaster Foundation, FTEM is the state’s flagship event for training, collaboration, and leadership development in emergency management. It moves beyond theoretical instruction by providing tangible tools and resources that enhance individual and team performance.
Building on the success of its inaugural year, FTEM 2025 will deliver an expanded and enriched program focused on real-world challenges and solutions. Attendees can expect to engage with industry experts and improve their skillsets through practical training, expert-led workshops, and innovative leadership panels at the forefront of the industry. This year, FDEM will also introduce specialized courses for local officials, helping them better support communities during disaster response and recovery.
