National Homeland Security Conference

The 19th annual National Homeland Security Conference (NHSC) will take place from August 10 through 13, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. Each year, this premier event brings together homeland security and emergency management professionals from across the nation to discuss the latest trends and best practices shaping the profession. Attendees will have the opportunity to collaborate across all disciplines and levels of government through high-level briefings and interactive sessions. Additionally, breakout sessions will be held throughout the event to foster timely discussions on the industry’s most pressing topics, including community resilience, critical infrastructure, and more.

Connect with Hagerty at the NHSC

On August 13, Hagerty Preparedness professional, Andrew Bohnert, will lead a presentation titled “Preparing for an Unknown Future: Confronting Emerging Threats through Innovative Exercise Design.” His session will highlight ways to strategically address emerging threats through exercises—empowering attendees with practical exercise design strategies that enable organizations to successfully overcome complex challenges. If you are attending this year’s event, be sure to catch Andrew’s session and connect with Hagerty professionals Francisco Sánchez and Claire Doyle.

Thank you to the NHSC for hosting this enriching event. We look forward to sharing fresh perspectives, exchanging practical ideas, and building lasting connections across the field.
