Florida Emergency Preparedness Conference

The Florida Emergency Preparedness Association (FEPA) is hosting the 2026 Florida Emergency Preparedness Conference, formerly known as the FEPA Annual Meeting, from January 26 to 30 in Miramar Beach, Florida. The conference convenes emergency management professionals from across the state to share knowledge, build relationships, and strengthen Florida’s emergency management community.

This year’s theme, “All Hazards; All Voices,” highlights the importance of bringing diverse perspectives together to strengthen the profession and protect our communities. Attendees can look forward to:

  • Cutting-edge workshops and training sessions designed to address today’s evolving emergency management challenges
  • Inspiring keynote speakers and expert panels featuring leaders in the field
  • Meaningful networking opportunities with peers, mentors, and partners statewide
  • An expanded exhibitor and sponsor showcase featuring the latest tools, services, and innovations in emergency management

Connect with Hagerty

Hagerty is proud to attend and participate in this year’s Florida Emergency Preparedness Conference. On January 29, Hagerty’s Deputy Director of Recovery, Tanya Shannon, will lead an in-depth presentation on best practices for maximizing Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) funding. This session will highlight key topics such as substantial damage determination assessments, effective post-disaster staff and resource surge, and strategies for streamlining the PA process. Additionally, Hagerty’s Senior Manager, Kalindi Fitch, will be in attendance and available to connect.

We look forward to engaging with partners, colleagues, and practitioners throughout the event. If you plan to attend, we hope that you will join us for Tanya’s session and connect with our team.
