Brad Grining is an experienced finance and accounting professional with a proven track record of adding value to financial functions. He is a strategic thinker and strong business partner, excelling in leadership and problem-solving. Brad has significant experience in managing corporate transactions requiring technical expertise. He also specializes in building and training internal teams, managing external professionals, and navigating high-stakes, fast-paced environments.

As a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA), Brad is responsible for overseeing and providing leadership to the finance and accounting, technology, contracts, human resources, risk management, and proposal functions of the company. Additionally, Brad develops and monitors the implementation of annual and long-term strategic plans; negotiates contracts with Hagerty’s clients and teaming partners; ensures compliance with contracts and federal, state, and local laws; and monitors the firm’s overall and project-specific performance metrics.

Earlier in his career, Brad worked at Deloitte & Touche in Merger & Acquisitions and Audit & Attest Services. Most recently, he worked at Kimball Hill Homes (KHH), one of the country’s largest privately owned homebuilders. At its peak, KHH generated more than $1 billion in annual revenue, operated in 16 metropolitan markets, and delivered over 4,000 homes each year.

Additionally, Brad graduated magna cum laude from Saint Louis University. He currently resides in the Chicagoland area with his wife and two sons.
