Flooding in Louisiana: News You Should Know

Between August 8th and 14th, heavy rains across the State of Louisiana caused massive flooding. As of August 23rd, flooding across the state has killed at least 13 people and preliminary damage estimates show that approximately 60,000 homes have been damaged. As we continue to monitor the situation from a disaster recovery perspective, here are some of the stories that we have been following:

  • President Obama has signed a disaster declaration for Louisiana, clearing the way for federal aid to help survivors and repair damaged infrastructure and homes – Link here
